Basic Campaign Settings

These settings will be the first step to complete every time you create and edit a campaign, some of which are mandatory in order to be able to save the campaign in the system.

Advertiser

Select the advertiser to be associated with this campaign from the list of existing advertisers.

Campaign name

Name the campaign with appropriate structure (Ex: "Passendo_Fall_Campaign_May_2019"), min of 3 characters.

Active

By default, a new campaign is set to active. You can uncheck this box to deactivate the campaign. This will stop all delivery on the campaign, remove (but store) all bookings on the campaign from all respective placements, and move the campaign to ‘Inactive Campaigns’ on the associated advertiser.

Start Date

Define when this campaign should start delivering. This is a required setting.

End Date

Define when this campaign should stop delivering. This is an optional setting.

If no end date is set, the campaign can theoretically deliver indefinitely if no volume is defined either.

Click URL

Set the full landingpage URL for the campaign including call method (http:// or https://). This is a required setting.

All creatives will by default use this landingpage, but the campaign’s Click URL can be overwritten by adding another Click URL on a creative.

External Campaign Tracking Pixel

If you wish to track impressions in an external ad server, insert a static 1x1 tracking pixel URL, without script.

This is an optional setting.

After applying these settings, you can choose to click “Save and move on to creatives” to go straight to adding material to the campaign. This will save you some time if you do not need any more settings on the campaign. If you wish to make more settings, please refer to the specified articles for help on the next steps of the Campaign wizard.
