Placement Booking

A Placement booking is a type of booking that places entire campaigns on a single placement.

The placement booking is very rarely used, as usually campaign are booked as they are set up, one at a time. Therefore, a placement booking is mainly to be used in cases where a new ad placement is set up and now needs multiple live campaigns to be placed on it. In this case, it will be more efficient to use the placement booking than going to each individual campaign and making a campaign booking.

The same rules as usual apply for the placement booking, meaning that you will only be able to select campaigns that holds creative(s) in a format that matches the placement.

Example

Placement A is created long after the initial onboarding process was completed and has the format 300x250.

Campaign A is live and holds creatives in 300x250 and 600x250 formats.

Campaign B is live and holds creatives in 600x250 formats.

Campaign Cis live and holds creatives in 930x180 and 300x250 formats.

Campaign D is deactivated.

A placement booking can be used to book Campaign A and Campaign C. Campaign B will not be seen in the select offer view, since it doesn’t hold creatives in 300x250, and Campaign D will not be seen since it’s not active.
