Emperor allows you to quickly generate reports directly from the management dashboard of your entities (advertisers, newsletters, orders, brands, etc.). This is done using the "See stats" button, which automatically redirects you to the relevant reporting template based on the selected entity type.
This feature acts as a shortcut, guiding you to the correct predefined reporting template without requiring you to manually choose one. However, while the dimensions and metrics remain fixed, you will still need to manually select brands, newsletters, teams, and filters before generating the final report.
Key rules to keep in mind:
- Each entity type is linked to a specific reporting template.
- You can only generate reports for one type of entity at a time (e.g., brands OR newsletters, not both).
- Fixed metrics across all templates are: Impressions, Clicks, CTR, Revenue, and eCPM.
The "See stats" button dynamically selects the appropriate reporting template based on the entity you're viewing. Below is a breakdown of how the "See stats" feature works for different entities.
1. From a Brand (e.g., The New Yorker) → Newsletter(s) Performance Template
If you click "See stats" from a brand’s management dashboard, it will take you to the Newsletter(s) Performance template. This allows you to analyze how the newsletters under that brand are performing in terms of impressions, clicks, and revenue. Selecting "See stats" from The New Yorker will direct you to a performance report of its newsletters.
2. From a Newsletter → Placement(s) Performance Template
Clicking "See stats" on a specific newsletter will lead to the Placement(s) Performance template. This helps analyze how different ad placements within that newsletter perform. Running a report from The New Yorker’s “New York Today” Newsletter will show impressions, clicks, and CTR across its placements.
3. From a Specific Placement → Line Item Delivery per Placement Template
When selecting "See stats" from an individual placement, the system directs you to the Line Item Delivery per Placement template. This report allows you to measure how well different line items (ads) are being delivered within that specific placement. If you select Bottom Ad Placement in The New Yorker’s “New York Today”, the report will display delivery metrics for that placement.
4. From Advertisers (All Advertisers) → Advertiser(s) Performance Template
Selecting "See stats" from the all advertisers view takes you to the Advertiser(s) Performance template. This provides a comparative view of how multiple advertisers perform in terms of engagement and revenue. Running a report for all advertisers helps compare the performance of different advertisers in your inventory.
5. From a Specific Advertiser → Order(s) Performance Template
If you navigate to an individual advertiser’s dashboard and click "See stats", you will be directed to the Order(s) Performance template. This allows you to analyze all active or past ad orders for that advertiser. Selecting "See stats" from Eucerin as an advertiser will generate a report showing all their ad orders.
6. From an Order → Line Item Performance Template
Clicking "See stats" from an order’s dashboard will take you to the Line Item Performance template. This allows for in-depth tracking of how the line items (ads) within that order are performing. Running a report from Eucerin - Cosmetics Products 2025 Order will display engagement metrics for its line items.
7. From a Line Item → Creatives Performance Template
If you click "See stats" on an individual line item, it will take you to the Creatives Performance template. This helps analyze the effectiveness of different ad creatives (banners, text ads, images, etc.) within that line item. If you select a line item from Eucerin’s Skin care autumn collection campaign, the report will break down the performance of each creative used.
Why use "See stats"?
Using the “See stats” feature saves time by automatically selecting the appropriate reporting template. It ensures accuracy by aligning reports with the correct entity type and eliminates confusion by guiding your team members to the best report for their needs.
Although the "See stats" feature helps preselect the right reporting template, users must still manually enter specific brands, newsletters, and teams, and apply filters before generating the report.
This feature is particularly useful when managing multiple campaigns, as it provides a shortcut to structured reporting while keeping the flexibility to refine data as needed
