New: Inventory Planner

The Passendo Inventory Planner is an inventory management tool which gives you insights into your booking strategy, what inventory you have available for a selected date range and the ability to make informed decisions for your demand strategy.

Instructions

1. Accessing Inventory Planner

You can access the feature by navigating to the "Inventory Planner" menu item.

2. Selecting the forecasted time period

Two required fields. One of them is the "Forecasted Time Period". Here you have to choose the time period you want to visualise. You can select from "today's" date and in the future. After you have selected the time period, click "Apply".

3. Selecting the inventory

The second required field is "Inventory". In this list you will find all your medias and placements. You can "Select All", individual media or individual placements.

4. Filtering more or viewing data

After you have filled in the required fields, you can either click "View Data" that will generate the results based on the information from the required fields or you can further filter the upcoming results, based on "Priority".

By default, the system will generate data on "Any" priority and if you open the dropdown list, you will be able to choose a specific priority.

5. Data output

Regardless if you chose a specific priority or not and clicked "View Data", after a few seconds, you will get the following result:

  •  On the left side, you have the list of the selected inventory "Media Name" and "Placement Name". If you click on the placements name you will be redirected to the Booking list of that placement.
  • At the top of the table you have the name of the month and year you are currently looking at in the view. If you selected more than 1 month, you can navigate through the months, by clicking the right and left arrows:

  • The boxes in the graph represent the following:
    • if you have nothing booked on a placement, the box will be green.
    • if you have only one campaign/creative booking on a placement, the box will be orange.
    • if there are multiple campaign/creative bookings on the placement, the box will be purple.
  • You can interact with the data in the graph by clicking on the boxes that have either one or multiple campaigns booked. If you do so, you will see the following information:
    • Media and placement name that you have selected - if you click on the placement name, it will redirect you to the bookings list of that placement.
    • The booking priority
    • Name of the campaign or creative that is booked on that placement
    • Campaign start and end date.
  • "Campaign's start date" switch will filter the current view and allow you to see if you have any campaigns starting in that specific time period
